LIGHTEDGE is a photography brand focusing on event photography, documentary, and creative photography.
My name is Marie Meltvedt Lyseggen, and I am in the start phase of building Lightedge. I have a vision and an eager to spread my artwork and creativity out there - more than anything I wish to learn along the way. I believe my young age adds spice to what I do and gives me the opportunity to offer something else than what an experienced, traditional photographer can.
The name "Lightedge" is a translation of my Norwegian family name, Lyseggen

I am Marie, 21 years old, born and raised in Oslo, Norway. I am currently a film student at Toronto Metropolitan University in Toronto (formerly Ryerson University)
Photography and art mean more to me than being pleasing to the eye. I want to tell a story through my pictures and convey the real atmosphere and feelings in front of the camera. Documentary photography is a passion of mine and is something I will explore further in the years to come. Consequently, event photography services are perfect training for work I wish to do in the future.
I am based in Toronto most of the year and will be able to photograph events in all of Ontario. Summers I will be living in Norway.
